When Edwina had too much to drink she spoke to people we couldn’t see. At first we thought she was mucking about, but later realised she was totally engaged in intense monologue. We felt anxious for her, however, because she was lucid without the booze we put it down to a quirk.

Several years later earth was invaded. It was mayhem. Something out of a Sci-Fi, but for real.

Panic, fear, famine, death and destruction surrounded us. We didn’t understand what had happened. We feared for our lives. Edwina had no problem though. She knew exactly what was on the cards.
