About

​My writing often starts in familiar territory: friendships, families, workplaces and communities, before something shifts and the characters find themselves somewhere they weren't expecting to be.

​

I came to writing through a career across the creative industries. I started in advertising and graphic design, including working in Los Angeles, and went on to work across branding, editorial, PR, hospitality, film and contemporary art. 

 

Throughout that time I was also writing magazine columns, treatments, press material, stories and screenplays.

​

Looking back, storytelling has probably been the constant throughout it all, sometimes through words, sometimes through images.

​

I'm now concentrating on my own writing.

 

My completed feature comedy drama Ashes to Stashes is currently mid-revision, alongside new screen projects including Right of Way, The Stick-Up and Netball.

 

I also write fiction, including my novel-in-development Driftmeyer, and very short fiction in my collection of 100-word stories.
